*  The above collection of maps is derived from Global-Temperature-Departures-From-Average maps that are posted at the NOAA National Centers for Environmental Information site at https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/temp-and-precip/global-maps/  Over 36 months, the planet has been exceedingly warm.  Anomalies that can be seen include deep blues, indicating areas of chemically-nucleated cool downs.  These occur over heavily-populated regions such as the Eastern United States to keep populations distracted, pacified, and unaware of events that are unfolding.
