Dear Mary Evelyn,

Hurrah for your 2010 Equity & Social Justice Advocacy Award!  Your THE FORGOTTEN ROOM is an important book telling your story of working in an alternative school and the discovery of the school's solitary confinement cell.  It meant everything to me to have your invitation to write the book's foreword ... I send you Colorful Autumn Songs of Peace and Love, Ashley
